Hugo Isaac
Espacio de Arte y Creatividad
About
right in the heart of Gràcia, Barcelona.
Imagine a place where you can create without fear, share without judgment, and where every emotion is welcome.
Hugo Isaac Espacio de Arte y Creatividad is not your typical, elitist gallery, it’s a living, welcoming, and inclusive space.
A place for everyone who resonates with art: budding artists, passionate souls, curious minds, dreamers, sensitive people, and everyday creatives.
This space invites passersby to step in, to discover, and to feel. Every corner breathes freedom and spontaneity. As a painter, photographer, and makeup artist, enriched by my experience in art therapy and coaching, I wanted to create a space where we dare to be ourselves through the act of creating.
A living space for everyone
transformation, and connection.
Each week, diverse workshops bring the space to life: abstract painting, collage, creative sessions for children,
painting apéros… On Saturdays, an intensive workshop helps you break through the dreaded “blank page syndrome.”
And for those who prefer to paint in privacy, “The Colors of Your Light” offers a free, open space, no rules, no pressure , just pure creative release, like when we painted on walls as kids.
Hugo Isaac Espacio de Arte y Creatividad is, above all, a creative refuge, a soul lab, and a meeting point for an open, kind, and inclusive artistic community. Here, everyone belongs. Here, art is for all

The colors of Hugo Isaac and mixed media

Hugo Isaac is a self-taught Franco-Swiss artist.
After more than ten years as a professional makeup artist, he discovered painting as a path to rebirth following a transformative burnout in 2021. This turning point marked the beginning of a deep exploration of gesture, color, and intuition.
Trained in photography, art therapy, and personal development, Hugo embraces a spontaneous and intuitive artistic practice, where color becomes a language. His work is always abstract and born from an organic process one tone, one energy, one movement. He chooses not to title his artworks, allowing each viewer to create their own interpretation.
His inspirations are varied: street art, graffiti, nature, silence, music, and human diversity. He works with acrylics, inks, pastels, and spray paint, exploring texture and embracing creative accidents.
His artistic references include Basquiat, Rothko, David LaChapelle, Pat McGrath, and GregoryCrewdson.
Hugo exhibited four times in Geneva between February and October 2023. He is currently developing a hybrid gallery project dedicated to emerging artists and aims to offer workshops focused on artistic liberation.
Through his work, Hugo conveys a message of self-acceptance, freedom, and transformation. He invites everyone to celebrate their uniqueness, unlock their inner creativity, and dance with their fears in the vibrant chaos of life.

The world of JOAN SARRIA

As a child, for Joan Sarrià, drawing and painting were just a game, and he wasn’t aware of the importance behind what seemed to be simple entertainment.
Over time and although a bit late he discovered that this pastime was much more: a way to escape problems, a tool to break free from routine, and also a way to better understand himself. In short, art became a form of therapy he can no longer live without.
This exhibition brings together his most recent works and marks the end of a style and theme that have accompanied him in recent years. It’s a time of change, and it’s time to say goodbye to black and white.
